Allied battle, Rats and Gobbos 1000 pts

Here's a picture from this weekend's team game. 1000 points each of Night Goblins and Skaven going up against the combined force of Lizardmen and Empire (using some High Elven models to represent their troops). It was a slugfest, with double mortars causing damage early on and Speargobbos and Rat Ogres cleaning house late. In the end, three out of four generals and battle standard bearers had been killed, with only the Skaven ones remaining, which also resulted in a victory for the Forces of Destruction. Although the Skaven and Night Goblins had been backstabbing each other throughout the game that by the end, they were Desperate Allies and prepared to fight it out amongst one another once the pinkskins had been dealt with.

All in all, good times were had by all and we all agreed we should do it again sometime soon.

I also found time to fight two more battles at 2500 points, trying out my tournament list, but I'll have more thoughts on that later on.
